A.P. VHA organized awareness campaign on Environment, Pollution, Water and Sanitation in the slums of Secunderabad area. A total of 29 awareness campaigns on EPTRI were organized to educate community leaders and other public.

AP VHA conducted Vitamin–A deficiency programme in 19 schools of Government Zilla Parishad in Cantonment Area and distributed the vitamin tablets to the children in the schools. Prof. R.R. Swamy, President, A.P. VHA sponsored this programme. The Head Masters of the Schools requested to A.P.VHA to organize such a useful programme at least twice in a year.

A.P. VHA disseminated the information material on Bird/Avian Flue to its all Member Organisations.
