VHAI Interventions : Orissa Cyclone Phailin
1. Mobilized two teams to move to worst affected communities of Ganjam and Jagatsinghpur districts.

2. Providing immediate medical relief, which seems to be an area of considerable need due to inadequate outreach of the government facilities as well as the long stay in harsh situation by large number of people during the last few days. This is particularly need for expectant women, children and the elderly population.

3. Doing an appropriate need assessment of the vulnerable families, i.e women headed households, elderly people, vulnerable children and adolescents as well as physically and mentally challenged.
