Gallery Freedom was initiated by VHAI with the goal of touching the lives of millions through art opened in January 1998.
It is an effort that goes beyond the commercial aspect of art. The proceeds from the gallery are utilised for promoting Health Care Services in the remote and neglected areas of country. It represents an innovative and effective way of touching the lives of the millions through art.
As the name signifies the Gallery heralds freedom of expression. It is an effort that goes beyond the commercial aspects of art. The objective is to seek a creative involvement of the intellect in our quest of fulfilment and joy for every home in India.

Gallery Freedom Proposes:
• To creat a gallery which goes beyond commercial aspects of art; we hope to achieve this by creating a platform to discuss, debate and promote various schools of art.
• To promote quality art of well known & established artists and encourage the potential of young & upcoming artists.
• To utilise the proceeds for promoting health care services in remote and neglected areas of the country.

The Gallery has over the years been designing & executing collaborative projects with visual artists and other creative people of the country.
The gallery has organised many artists’ camps, workshops and exhibitions, with the multifold purpose of engendering meaningful interactive encounters between creative individuals and underprivileged communities, between creative people of different disciplines, between artists and the uninitiated as well as for generating resources for various social causes addressed by VHAI. |

The gallery promotes not only visual art but also academic and experimental work. This we feel can go a long way in closing the communication chasm that threatens to develop between the masses and the intellect.
Gallery Freedom aims to bring out publications of written works and reproductions of artworks that are easily available to the common people.
The gallery represents an innovative and effective way of touching the lives of the millions through art. It is yet another endeavour by VHAI to achieve its goal of Making Health a Reality for All. |
