Background
Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) is a renewed effort to control malaria worldwide with a generation of effective tools and methods for prevention and treatment of malaria.

Through public and private health care delivery systems it aims at achieving at least 80 percent coverage by parasitological diagnosis and prompt and effective treatment of malaria. For an effective preventive and curative malaria control, it will make use of appropriate Behaviour Change Communications (BCC) activities.

Service delivery in project areas will be scaled up through training and capacity building activities. It will strengthen the program planning and management, monitoring and evaluation, and coordination and partnership development to improve service delivery in project areas.
